How to Make a Magnetic Spice Rack

Have you ever been cooking up a storm in the kitchen and then had to scramble and dig through your spices for something you need immediately? Is there limited space in your kitchen and it's difficult to keep your spices handy? This easy-to-build magnetic spice rack will provide you with an attractive and useful way to store your spices, clearing up storage space and making it easy to find what you need in a pinch.

    If you buy your magnetic strip from a store, it should be ready to screw directly into the wall above your stove, or wherever you want want your spice rack located.

    If you bought a strip of steel from a hardware store, drill holes through each corner, level your rectangle, and fit it to the wall using the screws.

    Using your hot glue gun, attach a magnet to the back of each watchmaker case.

    Fill each case with your favorite spices. Make sure to indicate which spice is in each case, using either your permanent marker or labeler.

    Stick your spices to your new rack and enjoy!
